Spoiler: Lush Valentine’s Day 2016!

This year’s Valentine’s Day range was leaked on instagram a few days ago, pamphlets have been making their way into stores across the U.S./Canada, and I have some bad news…I’ll let the following pictures do the talking. (Don’t worry UK, your spoilers are in here too!) Here is what’s coming to stores in NA:

The big gift set! Once again, thank you @lushteacher on instagram. 🙂

Notice anything missing? There aren’t any bath bombs!! Love Locket and Floating Flower were cut from this year’s lineup, and it appears Heart Throb bubbleroon and Lonely Heart bubble bar were left off the roster as well. 😦 Prince Charming has a new formula; instead of it’s popular gel form, you can get it as a shower cream! The Kiss balm and scrub are back, as is the lavender Unicorn Horn bubble bar. I find it odd that there is such a difference between the UK and US items this year:

2 new bath bombs AND Heart Throb?! Also, all of the items mentioned in the NA spoiler will be available in the UK as well. That means NA=5, UK=8. If you didn’t have a chance to try Heart Throb last year, it is wonderful. It creates a ton of bubbles, moisturizes your skin, and you get at least 2 uses out of it! Same fragrance as African Paradise body conditioner, a spicy floral with a hint of sweetness from the vanilla. I couldn’t find any pictures of the UK gift sets yet; I’ll update this post when more info is released. If the information on the pamphlets is correct, you can expect these in-store January 15th and online sooner! ❤

Lush Cosmetics Intergalactic Bath Bomb

New fave bath bomb alert!

If you’ve been to your local Lush store or checked out their site recently, you might’ve noticed some new bath products straight outta Oxford Street in London. Last week I finally made it to my local (it’s been months!) and was so excited to see they had the new bath range in stock. Among the newest additions are Guardian of the Forest (grassy scent), Yoga Bomb (sandalwood and earthy), The Expirementer (vanilla and black pepper, very interesting), Frozen (neroli and rose, so good!) and Intergalactic (minty fresh).

Intergalactic drew me in immediately with it’s presentation; deep blue with bright splashes of pink and yellow, dusted with glitter and shimmer. This is one beautiful bomb!

What really makes Intergalactic stand out is it’s fragrance. At first sniff, you pick up the peppermint oil and grapefruit. Both are the most dominant in this bomb, giving it a minty, slightly sweet scent. Underneath this peppermint fragrance is vetivert and cedarwood, which keeps this icy bath bomb grounded. All of these essential oils combine to make the most beautiful perfume, one that is the perfect addition to their permanent bath products.

Lastly, the bath art. What’s bath art? It’s when the bath bomb dissolves in the bath and creates gorgeous works of art in the form of froth, glitter, and swirling colors. Intergalactic is like the Van Gogh of bath art, it paints the most beautiful picture. Swirls of blue, white, pink and purple foam cover the surface, while the water turns a gorgeous deep blue that’s chockfull of glitter. Here’s the bomb in action:

Conclusion: If you’ve yet to try Intergalactic, pick one up stat! You need this product in your life, trust me. $7.50 may seem pricey for a one-use bath bomb, but it’s totally worth it. Think of it as a “treat yo’ self” kind of thing. 😉 You can find Intergalactic at your local lush store or online in the US here and the UK here.

Spoiler Alert: Lush Christmas 2015!

Viewing this in 2016? Click here to view the 2016 Christmas line-up!

Well, the Christmas Lush list has been leaked and it’s only September; great detective work fellow lushies! It appears that this list is from the catalog/employee training manual, and includes product descriptions, sizes, prices, etc. It’s unclear when the release date will be, as it is only September. If you love their moldable, multipurpose FUN, you’re in luck; there seems to be quite a few of those this season! Let’s take a look at the new and returning seasonal products:

**EDIT: Products available online now! Will be in stores soon. Find them here in the US and here in the UK. Get them while they’re hot!**

There you have it, the Christmas 2015 line-up! Is there anything you are excited to try, or excited to see return? I’m so happy they kept Golden Wonder, Shoot For The Stars, and Snowman Shower Jelly. For the new products, I’m really excited to try the Cranberry face mask, Salt and Peppermint Bark scrub, and Stardust bath bomb. However, I’m slightly depressed that they didn’t bring back the Christmas Eve and Christmas Hedgehog bubble bars. Without Northern Lights or Christmas Eve, how will we get that heavenly ylang ylang and jasmine scent? 😦 Despite the disappointment, I’m already planning on what to get when these are released! Last year they were in-stores around mid-to-late October, so my best guess is they will be available in that time frame as well. Only a month and a half to go! 🙂

Lush Cosmetics Discontinued Items List

Well, it’s that time of year again; the time when Lush decides to get rid of some of their beloved products to make room for new ones. This list has been going around online, I’ve seen it on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. While these are definitely being discontinued in the UK, it is still being speculated about whether they’ll be discontinued in the US. I asked my shop manager on my latest visit to Lush and sadly, she confirmed the list. 😦

Bath: Phoenix Rising bath bomb, Granny Takes a Dip bath bomb, Space Girl bath bomb, Rose Queen bath bomb, Dorothy bubble bar, and Amandopondo bubble bar

Shower: You Snap The Whip body scrub, Aqua Mirabilis body scrub, Sweetie Pie shower jelly, Grass shower gel, and Flying Fox shower gel

Soap: Godmother, Ice Blue, Dirty, and Magnificent

Face and Body: Aqua Marina cleanser (rumored), Vanilla Dee-Lite body lotion, Lustre dusting powder, Lovely Jubblies body cream, Tiny Hands hand cream, Putty for your Hands soap, Stepping Stone foot scrub, Formulae Known As body lotion, and Vanilla Puff dusting powder

Tis a sad day, my friends. Amandopondo, Dorothy, Dirty, and Sweetie Pie have been around for a long time, and will be sorely missed. As for Granny Takes a Dip and Magnificent, we hardly knew you, but the time we had was fun. Any of your favorites on this list? Stock up while you can! Run to your nearest store, or click the links here (US) or here (UK) to pick up some of these goodies before they are gone for good.
